From June 1st to October 30th 2016 La Réserve Malakoff presents the street art show Le Grand 8.   This ancient industrial space has been occupied by 50 street artists who have created large scale installations. Coming from different esthetics of the contemporary french urban art, each artist contributes to the creation of a rich “parcours” throughout the exhibition. Here are some images of the show.

The Holy Death @ Avec ma Blonde

The Holy Death @ Avec ma Blonde

The Holy Death is a mexican divinity that appeared from the mix of pre-colombian culture and Spanish catholicism. Even if her cult has been comdamned by the Vatican, her number of worshipers has recently grown fast through the American continent. My new series of prints is inspired by The Holy Death. The will be exposed in Paris throughout November 2015 @ “Avec ma Blonde” 69ter rue Damerémont, 75018. Here are some pictures of the opening that happened last Halloween night! This project is a collaboration with Pistola Paris.

Gomalakka’s lead singer Brakka in the performance at Tag Gallery, Sao Paulo, 2015.

Gomalakka started in 2005 in our university years. Originally conceived as a performance collectif it has taken the shape of a rock band through the years. Today Gomalakka is Ciça Brakka (singer and song writer), Ale Vergueiro (drums), Flavien Arker (bass) and Renato Maia (keyboards). Brakka’s lyrics go from post-feminist statements to love declarations. For this occasion at Tag Gallery, I took part in the performance with my synthesizer and some quick face painting! The live video projections are the work of the multimedia collective Rizomatique. Photos by Ju Veiga.
